Across all four, notice the through-line. Ordinary braises follow times-six, big cuts follow weight, quick foods stay short, and anything with meat ends with a thermometer rather than a timer.
The habits that decide whether a conversion works
Here is the part that quick charts tend to skip, and it matters at least as much as the arithmetic.
Liquid is the first non-negotiable. A slow cooker holds moisture over a long, gentle cook, so some recipes are written fairly dry.
