Who’s behind the site
ApplianceConversion.com is owned and operated by Muhammad Sami (“I”, “me”, “my”). “You” means anyone who visits or uses the site.
Using the site
You’re welcome to use the calculators and read the content for your own personal, non-commercial use. In return, I ask that you don’t:
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that could damage, disable, or overload it.
- Try to copy, scrape, republish, or resell the tools, code, or content as your own.
- Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with how the site or its tools work.
- Use automated systems to hammer the site with requests in a way that harms it or other users.
If you do any of these, I may restrict your access.
The tools and information are for general use only
The calculators give approximate cooking conversions for general informational purposes. They are a starting point, not professional cooking or food-safety advice, and they don’t guarantee results. Please also read the Disclaimer — it explains the limits of the tools and your responsibility for food safety, and it forms part of these terms.
Intellectual property
The design, code, calculators, text, and other original content on this site are my property and are protected by copyright. You may use the tools and link to the site freely, but please don’t copy or reproduce the underlying tools or substantial content without permission. If you’d like to reference or feature something from the site, just email me and ask — I’m usually happy to say yes.
The conversion facts themselves come from publicly available sources, which I credit on the How We Calculate page. I claim no ownership over the underlying cooking science — only over how this site presents and implements it.
Comments and submissions
If you leave a comment, you’re responsible for what you write. By posting, you agree to keep it civil and lawful — no spam, no abuse, no advertising, no harmful or infringing content. I may edit or remove comments at my discretion, and I may close comments on any page.
By submitting a comment, you give me permission to display it on the site. Please don’t share private or sensitive information in comments, since they’re public.
Third-party links, ads, and affiliates
This site links to other websites, may show ads (through Google AdSense), and may include affiliate links. I don’t control third-party sites or the ads served, and I’m not responsible for their content, products, or practices.
